SNTC duplicating serials, one with expired contract info and one with new

Have an issue with a customer where their custom inventory reports are showing duplicate serials for a ton of devices.  Most of them had coverage expired at end of June and we moved them to a new master contract.  The report shows them twice, once with old contract info and once with new info.  Shouldn't the old record have been removed and replaced with new by now?

Can you private message me the company and inventory names you are seeing this with?  Also, please provide a few of the serial numbers you are seeing this with so I can check some details.
