Troubleshoot LDAP Remote Authentication Server Connection at collector ?

Dear community.

I tried to configure connection from my collector to our LDAP server at Manage Remote Authentication Servers.

But s I tried to test the connection. I got an "Authentication Failed".

Is there an example how an LDAP configuration could look like and are they any tips (logs) hoe to troubleshoot such an issue ?

Hi Christian,

The best place to troubleshoot would actually be on your LDAP server you are connecting to. It will usually tell you what the issue is. If you don't see traffic at all, then a config setting might be wrong. If it shows an authentication error, then it means the credentials are wrong, etc. Let me know what it says and it will be easier to troubleshoot.
