I can not SSH to CSPC 2.7 after a new install and password change.

Do I need to reinstall the server to get it working again?

Hello,

Try to use the following user and password after a 30 minute period.
admin
Adm!23min

If you haven't changed the password it should work.

Hello,

With the new CSPC 2.7 image, if up to 3 failed login attempts have occurred back to back, it will temporarily lock the account for 30 minutes.  Can you please try and see if you're able to login after a 30 minute period?

Thank you,

Jarrett

Same result after 1 hour wait time. Attaching screenshot. Admin usr works as expected on the web browser.

Hello OTRAdvisory

Did you manage to solve the problem?

I am facing the same issue as yours now

No answer or solution provided yet. Still can not login through SSH.

Hello, can you please post a screenshot of any error messages you receive?

In addition, what ssh client are you using?

Does the behavior repeat for all users? - admin/collectorlogin ??

Regards,

Cesar

I couldn't login using users "admin" or "admin123", "root" and "collectorlogin" are not enabled yet.

I am trying from vSphere console and ssh using putty

If you haven't changed the password it should work.

I have reinstalled the ova and I can now login using admin and collector login accounts but I have a problem with root user is locked for more than 24 hrs.

I need to unlock it to be able to extract the collector file manually to upload it to Cisco portal.

:)

I have a similar issue, I waited for more than 30 minutes and I'm still locked...

When you say "if you haven't changed the password", are you talking about the WEB interface admin account or the ssh account?

Does the web interface and the shell share the same accounts?
