when configuring the new CSPC 2.9 collector, it failed when configuring a static ip or a ip via DHCP.

1. Get IPv4 Address automatically (Use DHCP)
2. Enter IPv4 Address manually (static IP Address)
3. Main Menu

Enter IP Address : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Enter Net Mask : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Enter Default Gateway : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Configuring your CSPC appliance...

Failed!

When we use option 1 we only see;

Does anyone have seen this error before? we already had a CSPC running in the environment.

The CSPC VM was assigned to a wrong network, due to this is was unable i guess to ping to cisco.
