CSPC Collector - Excluded devices

I have some old VG248 devices in the network. I can discover them, but I get a message back from the discovery "Not managed because of Exclude Platform definition". I can not find where this exclusion is configured. I would like to get these devices managed so they can be uploaded to SNTC.

Any suggestions?

Hi There!

Can you please check the settings on Device Management>Discovery Settings on the Exclude Platform tab ?

The only entry in the right side is "EXCLUDE_NETWORK_AND_BRODCAST"

Is there any chance the device has IP ending in .0 or .255?

No sir.

X.X.X.248, X.X.X.200, X.X.X.155, X.X.X.215, X.X.X.152, X.X.X.205, X.X.X.50, X.X.X.131, and X.X.X.102

Hi there, can you also check if the Included platform list is also blank?

The plaform is determined based on the system object id of the devices.

Can you share the sysoid for the devices that receive this error?

In addition, please share the version details of your CSPC.

Regards.

what´s the problem for ending in IP 0 or 255?

Those can be the broadcast addresses on a subnet, depending on subnet mask and network class. So they are skipped by default to avoid pinging to broadcast addresses.
