I have previously had a number of IP addresses included in the "Do Not Manage Devices List...", however, I have now deleted these IP addresses from the list, however, when starting a device discovery (using the IP's as removed from the list), I get an error - Status - Failed , Message - Filtered device: n.n.n.n
I have tested and confirmed your issue with the do not manage device filter on CSPC version 184.108.40.206. As a workaround can you access the collector via CLI by first logging in as collectorlogin and then su to root. From root, you can run the service cspc restart and when the collector comes back up the discovery jobs will work for the filters IP's that have been removed.
example of workaround:
[collectorlogin@localhost ~]$ su root Password: [root@localhost collectorlogin]# service cspc restart Stopping CSPC... [ OK ] Shutting down MySQL... [ OK ] Stopping Connectivity Tail-end Gateway: [ OK ] Checking If Services are Shutdown... [ OK ] Starting CSPC... [ OK ] Starting MySQL..... [ OK ] Starting Base Collector and Add-Ons... Starting CSPC: Starting Connectivity Tail-end Gateway: nohup: redirecting stderr to stdout [ OK ] Starting Tomcat... [ OK ] [root@localhost collectorlogin]#
