Devices not showing up in Total Care

We have had Total Care for about 9 months now and the inventory doe shave most of our equipment, but I am also still missing a number of devices that share the same credentials as the other devices, but are not included in the inventory. I have other management platforms that discover and manage the devices via SSH v2 or SNMP v3 with no problems.

Do I need to kick off additional discoveries as I don't think I can add them manually.

Thanks.

Hi,

Without knowing much about the devices that are "missing" -- I'll suggest that you check to see if the "PID" is supported by SNTC.

Use this tool to perform this check:

Ran the tool checker and those routers indeed are not covered by SNTC. These are just standard IOS routers. Can you tell me why they would not be supported and if they will be supported in future releases? We use these lower end routers at smaller sites and since they touch the public network, it is important we stay up on the PSIRT alerts.

Can you please share the product IDs with us?

Thanks,

Bobby
