Discover voice applications in the collector and see data in SNTC portal, this is normal or possible ?

Inside the portal it shows data of voice applications of the family Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS), there are more applications that can be added to the SNTC portal or only physical equipment can be added.

In general, CSPC doesn't collect data about applications running on servers or applications within any network devices. If you see application software reported in the, it's a anomaly and likely has to do with the way the MIB is structured for the hardware.   The portal does however typically report operating system information, like the OS verison.

Hi Ernesto,

Please check below SNTC PID checker for supported device list. There are two PIDs are supported for VCS family. As per list, there are some virtual Machines are part of the list as well.

Hello Tnewell, thanks for the answer. There is a bug associated with this behavior or there is not documented something similar or a document that can confirm that you should not see application information within the SNTC Portal
