FLSA1-1X-2.5-5G= is smartnet required after original licence has been bought

Just wondering if after you have bought the above licence is there an ongoing smartnet requirement on the above product.

Contract coverage and License allocation should not interfere with one another as device licenses enable device features and functionality. Contracts will typically be concerned with device support, RMA, etc.

Justin is correct, an SNTC contract isn't needed.  However, because this feature license upgrade is driven thru software, I believe the customer should have a Software Support contract. If they already have a Software Support contract for 2.5G, they will need a credit.
