how to get CP-8831 Serial numbers

Customer requested to quote smartnet for their IP Phone, but the serial number given that show on the device is only CP-8831-BASE= & CP-8831-DCU= and the serial number not able to generate the Smartnet quotation. How can i get the main serial number for this IP phone? Tried to configure in but still same serial number.

Can you please send me a private message with some more details about your issue? Can you tell me what your Customer Name/Inventory name and an example IP Phone to help take a look into the issue a bit more.
