Because your upload/collection profiles are uploading excessively as show below ,and it was manually stopped at the backend please modify your collection and/or upload profile

 execessive.JPG

Multiple uploads may occur accidently by having a scheduled collection profile or upload profile that is scheduled to run too frequently.  Could you please check the upload frequency of your CSP-Collector and update its settings to around once a week for uploads?

This will help to ensure better processing times on your uploads on the SNTC Portal

There are currently two ways to issue an upload to the portal

  1. Upload using your collection profile
  2. This feature is configured and enabled by default
  3. This will allow for the upload job to automatically start once your collection profile has completed

  1. Upload using a separate upload profile
  2. This job can be scheduled and ran separately from your collection profile job (if you wish to upload at a different day and time than your scheduled collection profile/discovery job)
  3. If you wish to use an Upload Profile, please unselect the export options of your collection profile to remove duplicate uploads

Upload Using Your Collection Profile (Default Option)

  • Settingsà Manage data collection profileà Double click on your collection Profile name

(Example: “sntc1x_min_cp”)

  • In your new window “Modify Collection Profile”  -> Select tab at the top “profile details” and scroll all the way to the bottom to “export options”
  • “Upload to Remote Server” will Send the latest collected Data each time to cisco.
  • schedulleuplaod.jpg

Upload Using a Separate Upload Profile

    • Settingsà Manage Upload Profile à Double click on your Upload Profile name (Hint: if you do not see any listed yet, you may need to first select “Add Upload Profile” to create a new one
      • In your new Windows “Modify Upload Profile” scroll all the way to the bottom to View “Export Options”
      • “Export to Remote Server” will send your upload to Cisco for processing
      • If you wish to use and upload profile instead of uploading via Collection Profile, it’s recommended to disable the option in your collection profile
      • schedulleuplaod2.jpg

Hello,

The SNTC Portal will process up to 5 uploads per day. Uploads that exceed this will display the "silenced" message. You may issue a new upload after 24 hours. As a best practice, we generally set the CSPC to issue 1 full upload per week for processing.

Thank you,

Jarrett
