PSA: The example CSV file given by the portal is not correct.

If you download the file that the portal offers as an example CSV file for uploading inventory, it is not correct. The example file shows records where the trailing commas are omitted if the last few optional fields are omitted. If you omit the trailing commas, the upload will fail.

You must include all of the commas, even if the last few fields in the record are empty.

For example, this record will cause the upload to fail:

XXXXXXXX,10.10.10.10,FTXxxxxxxx,AIR-CAP3602I-A-K9

You have to include the trailing commas

XXXXXXXX,10.10.10.10,FTXxxxxxxx,AIR-CAP3602I-A-K9,,,,
