Recover accounts on collector

I have tried logging into the cli of the collector with all 3 accounts (admin, collectorlogin & root)  and they are locked. I've waited longer than 30 minutes, was able to get a prompt on the collectorlogin, but it appears to be asking for he unix account psswd. Is that the same as the admin account psswd? please advise.
