SNTC: Partner level access to a specific customer

Dear SNTC Support team,

As a partner for a specific customer we need to have access to a SNTC portal of this customer, showing the collector information and collected devices as well.

 

Could you help me in grant this access? The customer already have access and works fine, just me as a Partner not.

Hi Jonas,

 

For partner, CBR admin/user role is available for SNTC. It is two step process.

 

Step 1:

is now available in the SNTC Portal Administration and Management Guide, showing how Partner DA can Add New Users to the Portal and Assign Roles for the Partner company. (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/services/sntc/portal_administration.html#add_new)

 

Step 2:

A customer can also grant their Partner CBR Admin the right to add other partner users to the portal on their own. Follow the steps to give CBR Administrator Rights to Add Partner Users. (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/services/sntc/portal_administration.html#cbr_admin)

Hi Supriya.

The step 1 doesn't show to me because I've only access to Smart Care and not Smart Net Total Care.

 

About step 2, the CSAM portal has grayed out the role checkboxs as you can see below:

I received your private message with all detail that I requested.

 

I checked further and found that partner company does not have any DA assigned so first step that I have mentioned above can be done only login to CSAM via partner company DA CCOID. Partner company has to decide who is going to be DA for partner company. Please use below steps to assign partner DA for partner company. Look for 'Request Partner Delegated Administrator (For Partners Only)' on below link.

Once partner DA is assigned, please finished below two steps (use same link above and step is given)

 

Step 1 (this step is done by Partner company DA): Look for topic 'Add New Users to the Portal and Assign Roles' on above link. (NOTE: this step has to be done before step 2)

Step 2 (only done by Customer company DA to assign CBR admin/user role): Look for topic 'Add Partners to the Portal and Assign Roles' on above link.
