System notifications don't come to my actual email, only appear when click on Notifications icon in portal

When I run a report in portal and select the email notification box, I don't get an email.  I thought maybe it just didn't work, then found the notifications icon @ top right of portal and see them there.  Is there a reason why they don't come to Outlook?  And the Notifications icon doesn't show any alert that there is a new one?

Hello Jeffery,

 

We are aware of the issue where email notifications are not getting generated for reports generated via Portal, and currently working with our Engineering Team to help resolve the same. Bug CSCvn80660

There is no issues with actual report generation though. You should be able to request both online and offline reports and access those from under My Reports.
