Hi,

After the upgrade to 2.8.1.5 we are unable to login into the CSPC web interface. The CSPC is still doing the collections and uploads but we can't access to the web interface.

I already did the sudo service cspc restart but it still not working.

Hello fernando_lobo,

Upgrade Web UI Errors

Some time it observed that due to cache issue you will face this issue. Follow below steps to resolve it:

  1. It recommended to clear cache before login to CSPC WEBUI
  2. Login to collector appliance as collectorlogin
  3. Switch to root using su – command
  4. Run command service adminshell restart to restart adminshell
  5. Try login to CSPC GUI

If this does not work please Private Message me with the following output:

Execute below command which will display any package installation is going on or not.
Ex:- su admin from root and run
show apply
admin# show apply

Could you send me the logs under:

/opt/LCM/logs

should be two files, one called "apply" and the other "install"

While I review your logs please take a look at the following troubleshooting Guide

Troubleshooting Guide – CSPC Install & Collect

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/cloud-systems-management/common-services-platform-collector-cspc/cspc-troubleshooting-guide.html

Dont mean to hijack this thread, but I am no longer able to launch the web-gui either.

I have tried to reset the admin shell, but no change.

When I run the "admin# show apply" command I get back "Apply information is not available.".

I did have some issues with my certificates, but that should not cause a timeout error - if anything, I would think it would come back with  the "invalid certificate" or similar errors..
