Hello all.
As mentioned in other threads, I am deploying SD-Access for a customer and they have asked me about this possibility. Would be possible not to use an external device as fusion router and perform the route leaking on the border node itself?
Thanks!

it all depends on use case. but how big is this network ?

acc,
While this is possible , this is not our Best Practice. If there is no other device that can perform these operations, then it can be done. Remember that you can use an protocol for L3 handoff from the border, so if the issue is that we automate the L3 handoff with BGP, then you don't need to use that if you do not want.

Hello Scott.
Thank you for your reply!
One more question, would be feasible to use static routing for overlay routing instead of any other routing protocol? And on the other hand, if we use something such as EIGRP or OSPF instead of BGP, do we need to redistribute these routes over LISP within the fabric?
Thank you.
Regards.
