can't add to fabric / DNA 1.3 / error check payload

 i am getting the following error when adding a new switch to the fabric 

(migration status can't be alerted , please check the pay-load)

note that :

maglev can reach the new switch and DNA can provision it , error appeared when add to fabric only.

What model is the switch and what is the specific version of DNAC you are using?

DNA version 1.3.1.5 and switch is catalyst 9300  with ios 16.12.1

Are all of the other switches in the fabric running 16.12.1 ?

According to the SD-Access Compatibility Matrix (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/enterprise-networks/software-defined-access/compatibility-matrix.html ), the minimum supported IOS XE with Catalyst 9300 is IOS XE 16.12.1s for the 16.12.x train of code. The version in bold (16.12.2t) is the recommended version.

Dear Scott,

not all switches works on new ios but all other switches working fine as they was working with ios 16.6.5 everest with DNA version 1.2.10  and after upgrade DNA to 1.3 they working fine , and the problem in new switch , DNA can provision it but can't add to fabric as edge with the new IOS.

Please try to upgrade your switch to 16.12.2t. The hyperlink should take you to this software version.

Dear chuck,

this link is for recommendations to achieve all the new features and this error  related to DNA database,

old switches working as a part of fabric in old iOS release, 

i open tac case and will give you the feedback soon

The solution with TAC team,

it is bug for the DNA database and TAC Team did workaround and then have to upgrade the switch to the IOS in compatibility  matrix and it is working fine now.
