Am taking several switches out of service and would like to go the the switch: prompt in flash and delete the vlan.dat, config.text, and private-config.text files.
When given the switch: prompt in flash, am unable to enter flash_init, or anything else.
The program appears to be frozen. Switch hangs on boot as well.
Any thoughts as to why the program freezes. It has done this on a number of switches I am working on like the 3650?
Not all switches, but a number of them.
