I'm preparing for a code upgrade to nx-os 6.2. On one switch I got disconnected while running a "show install all impact".

The disconnect was a network problem, now that's fixed I try to run it again

show install all impact kickstart bootflash:m9500-sf2ek9-kickstart-mz.6.2.9c.bin system bootflash:m9500-sf2ek9-mz.6.2.9c.bin
Another install procedure may be in progress. Please try later.

I tried :

sho install all status
This is the log of last installation.

The details show the install of 5.2 which was a couple years ago.

How can I track this down and clear it so I can proceed?

Show tech terminal length
CSCtk56186
Description
This bug is filed to request implicit "term length 0" for any "show tech" commands issues in Nexus7000 platform.

Further Problem Description:

Previous to this fix, the page size/length for the "sh tech" command is derived from user terminal setting, it caused following issue also.

Symptom:

Incorrectly issued "Install all" or "Install all impact" command doesn't get cancelled after issuing Ctrl+C command and after that any "install all" command fails giving following error

N7K# sh install all impact kickstart bootflash:n7000-s1-kickstart.5.2.1.bin system bootflash:n7000-s1-dk9.5.2.1.bin
Another install procedure may be in progress. Please try later.

There is no impact to the operation of the system.

Conditions:

Install all command creates a file called "install.lock" into the temp folder; which should be deleted after issuing Ctrl C command; but it does not.

Workaround:

Delete the install.lock file from /temp folder by loading particular debug plugin (Contact Cisco TAC for Debug Plugin)
OR
Do the system switchover
