Can't Avtivate Grace Period License for FM_Server

Hi All,

I have a customer whose Fabric consists of the following:

Fabric_1 : 2 Directors

Fabric _2 : 2 Directors

For Fabric_1 customer has used up the 120 grace period for FM_Server, for Fabric_2 customer has not used the Grace period for FM_Server but wants to use the 120day grace period, however we are unable to start the grace period for this fabric, we tried to create  flows etc in FM.

One thing to note , customer uses the same FM_Server instance to manage the fabrics.

What error message are you getting for Fabric_2?

What happens if you remove Fabric_1 first?

Hi David,

We have tried all of the above, the error we receive when we try to invoke the grace period for 'FM_Server is as follows'

'No Fabric Manager License available for Fabric_G_MDS_02'

During our investigations we came across the following Bug 'CSCsr44223', unfortunately I don't have access to this bug.

Hi Jim,

'CSCsr44223' looks like a good match, but is fixed in 4.1(1a).

What version of Fabric Manager Srever and NX-OS does the customer have?

Fabric manager version is 3.3.3

SAN-OS version :  3.3.1c
