Cross Site ISL TE ports - How to monitor change in link distance and buffer credits

Hi Team

We are migrating some of our Cross Site DWDM SAN links on our Cisco SAN

I am look for a way by which i can track the Extended ISL distance ( current  as well as migraiton  )

I can see that all the SAN ports are TE and each has 500 buffer credits  allocated.  How do i know if these buffer credits are enough  ??

Is there any useful command which i can use to collect the TE port config before and after the change which will indicate if the link is healthy after the migration ??

Also the SAN port connected to the link being migrated is part of port channel . can i leave the port in port channel during the link migration  ??

Appreciate your quick response in this regard

sample sh int / sh int bbcredit  output given below

Port mode is TE
    Port vsan is 1
    Speed is 2 Gbps
    Rate mode is dedicated
    Transmit B2B Credit is 500
    Receive B2B Credit is 500
B2B State Change Number is 235406336
Receive data field Size is 2112

sh int fc2/6 bbcredit
fc2/6 is trunking
    Transmit B2B Credit is 500
    Receive B2B Credit is 500
      500 receive B2B credit remaining
      500 transmit B2B credit remaining
485 low priority transmit B2B credit remaining

Nice reference which explains how to calculate BB credits, depending on distance, speed, and frame size can be found in
