We are having problems with devices logging out of our fabric. Everything points to a cabling problem, but this is happening to multiple devices across multiple fabrics. The only two things that all the fabrics have in common are:
1. The fabric's are running NX OS 5.2(8a)
2. The fabrics have new VNX 5500's installed in their environments.
To resolve the problem temporarily, the interface is given the shut/no shut command. This forces the device to log back in.
We are in the middle of the rollout from 5.2.8 to 5.2.8a, but we are still seeing the problem in one of our fabrics even after upgrading to 5.2.8a. We thought that Cisco bug CSCuf31077 was occuring in the fabrics and that is why we installed 5.2.8a.
We are still receiving these errors in the fabric after the IOS upgrade.
