Does anybody know if there is a way to exclude specific SAN devices from the DCNM management?
I'm running a SAN environment where my customers are attaching FabricInterconnects to it. Therefore the DCNM discovers them and tries to access them. But as they are in a different management domain none has working credentials for accessing those FI. This leads to massive timeout problems for the DCNM and everybody trying to work with the Java GUI, as the personal credentials are used for trying to access those devices.
Is there a way to tell the DCNM to completely ignore those devices? If necessary it would be acceptable to exclude all FIs from discovery. Similar to the functionality for the LAN discovery, where we can exclude specific switch models from discovery.
