How to configure MDS switch to get CLI logons/Actions logged on external syslog server

CAn anybody advise how to configure MDS switch to get CLI logons/Actions logged on external syslog server.

I have tried logging server x.x.x.x facility user and logging server x.x.x.x facility authpriv without success.

Please advise if there is a configuration that will work for this

Are you trying to get updates to the the accounting log sent to an external server?

Hi David,

The customer has explained he has a PCI audit, which requires that all user commands and logins are reflected in a syslog server.

I advised the customer that he could filter the show accounting log and tftp or ftp to a remote server, but he explained that he needed to use a syslog server for audit purposes…

Not sure if this can be done though, I tried it my switch and couldn’t get this output…
