I am facing difficulty to understand below configuration. Any one can help me to understand this configuration on Nexus 5K.
What is swwn? How it is helping to reduce configuration related to Zone.

member interface fc1/31 swwn 20:00:66:7f:ee:d8:f7:80
fcalias name FABI-B-P32 vsan 3001
member interface fc1/32 swwn 20:00:66:7f:ee:d8:f7:80
zone name FABI-B-P31-NETAP-C1-P2 vsan 3001
member fcalias FABI-B-P31

You have a combination of fcalias and port based zoning, which is odd.
For port based zoning, you have to specify (swwn and physical port); swwn is the unique identifier of the switch (switch wwn).
Today, most storage vendors are using pwwn based zoning (fcalias is one method, device alias would be another choice)

Thanks.
My Question is more towards.
Member interface fc1/32 swwn 20:00:66:7f:ee:d8:f7:80

The member interface is the port on the switch, meaning anything connected to this port.
The swwn is the WWN of the switch, so this means fc1/32 on the switch with wwn 20:00:66:7f:ee:d8:f7:80.
Best regards,
Jim
