MDS 9000 export/import port licenses

We are consolidating SAN network, moving connections from older MDS 9124 switches to newer MDS 9148.

I read about the possibility to export port licenses from the old switch and installing to the new, but I cannot find a complete information.

Can someone outline the complete procedure to move port licenses between different switches?

Hi Walter, Do you mean we cannot transfer any licenses to the new MDS switch which is ought to replace the existing one? not even port licenses
