Folks,
I did a quick seach and couldn't find anything definative. I have 4 cisco MDS 9100 switches. One has recently shown us a orange powersupply light on the front. However when I look at show hardware I don't see any bad modules....
We are ordering a new powersupply, but I wonder if I am overlooking something. Anyone run into this?
Wow just as I was writing this post the switch popped this into the log:
2013 Apr 18 14:44:02 newsan-sw2 %PLATFORM-2-PS_FANOK: Fan in Power supply 2 ok
2013 Apr 18 14:44:03 newsan-sw2 %PLATFORM-2-PS_FANFAIL: Fan in Power supply 2 failed
I guess the unit it failing then working for bit... but it won't show up in show hardware:
