MDS 9500 software EOL notice clarification required

Hi Guys,

We are running the following code on our MDS 9500s SUPs:

kickstart variable = bootflash:/m9500-sf2ek9-kickstart-mz.4.2.1b.bin
system variable = bootflash:/m9500-sf2ek9-mz.4.2.1b.bin

According to Cisco's EOL notice the only version mentioned is the following:

MDS 9500 Supervisor/Fabric-2, NX-OS Software Release 4.2(1a)

There is no mention of the version we are specifically running as mentioned above, however the EOL document does refer to "4.x".  Can someone confirm whether our specific version is affected by this EOL?

I see your point; however, the statement: EOL for 4.x clearly also includes 4.2.1b; no exception.
