MDS9132T Fan "Failure" for Fans that don't exist.

Hi All,

I've got a customer who is installing some new MDS9132T switches. The bundle they have includes the C9132T with 2 x FAN modules only. The fans are installed into slots 2 and 4 as per the Cisco data sheet.

The device though has a big red warning LED on the front because Fan1 and Fan3 are 'failed'. I guess they technically are... but they just simply don't exist and have never existed.

Is there a way for me to disable this LED or configure the switch so it knows there are no fans in slot 1 and 3? It's supported to have 2 fans (not my choice, I'd have bought 4), but I really don't want this big red LED on the front of my brand new deployment.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.
