Need to know all the zone which has no member..

Hi all,

I have encountered so many times, that there is no member in my zone and it cretes problem in activating the zone set.

Then I need to look into all the zone and find which one has no member..

Can any one help me to know any command or combination of commands which can let me know this.

Hi Rajeev,

I'm not aware of any commands that would find empty zones (e.g. zones with no members).

Your best option is most likely to issue "show zoneset name " and then scan the output

for the empty zone.

Have you looked at the Fabric Manager Server web interface?  There is a Zone Analysis report available that should have what you are looking for.

Otherwise, you could parse the output from a "show zone active vsan xx" with a script to find any zones with no members.
