Guys i am a well qualified enginner but never had change to design a network for SAN. now the time has come and one of our customer has asked us to design a SAN network for them. they have two datacentres but to be honest i dont have any clue can someone tell me where to start and what things shd i ask the customer .....what abt MDS and nexus swicthes no idea abt them....customer wants to have a fibre between two SAN networks (amoung data centres) can someone please guide me so that i can start working on the prject as guys i have zero knowledge abt desgning SAN network.
If I were your customer (and I assume paying good money for this service) I'd expect someone who'd done this before to be designing my SAN. Assistance via a support forum wont be good enough.
