Nexus 5548 UP and FCoE an brocade

Hi,

I need help.

Architecture :

I have got two Nexus 5548UP .

The nexus are linked to 2 brocade 200e.

Esxi are conrected to Nexus 2248PP, Fcoe and Data >>> interface 101/1/9

Problem:

I try configured Fcoe to Esxi 5.0 but the interface vfc 1 still down.

My configuration :

Hi

Are your fexes dual homed to 5k ? If you can you also paste configuration from other 5k switch ? Typically as far as vsan segregation is concerned if you have fex 101 enabled for fcoe on one 5k, the kw fcoe under fex 101 should not be present on other 5k. Similarly for fex 102. If your other 5k also is enabled for fcoe for both fexes, that would be incorrect. Maybe that is your problem.

My Flexs are dual-homed to 5k.

But I don't understand very well that you wrote .

Today, the esxi is connected the one N2000.

I must configure Vlan Fcoe that on a 5k.

or I  must configure Fcoe on the both 5k but on different vlan Fcoe  .

i was referring to the following config you pasted

do you have this same exact config on other 5k as well ? If so, can you try removing fcoe keyword from fex 101 on other side ?

Hi,

I had same configuration on both N5K.

I have removed the configuration Fcoe on second N5k.

Interface vfc1 seems to be  Ok.

But i have another problem, On esxi the Emulex One command plug-in  says  ethernet's interfaces is up.

But Vcenter sees them down !!
