Hi,
I was wondering what is the license for layer 3 in a N5K-C5010, I get the below options but I am no so sure which one is the Layer 3 one:
N5000FMS1K9 | |
Nexus 5000 Fabric Manager Server License
N5010-SSK9 | |
Nexus 5010 Storage Protocols Services License
DCNM-SAN-N5K-K9 | |
DCNM for SAN License for Nexus 5000
DCNM-L-NXACCK9 | |
DCNM for LAN Advanced Edition for N1/2/4/5K
N5010-FNPV-SSK9 | |
Nexus 5010 FCoE NPV License |
Any help is much appreciated!

enable the grace period feature, then configure OSPF. After you have configured it use the command "show license usage" to see which one is in use

5010/5020 are layer 2 only and does not support routing protocols.

Hello Juan
For L3 operations L3 daughter card should be used.
At the moment only Nexus 55XX series switches support this module.
Also in order to enable this module following license should present on N5k device:
LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG - it's free and lifetime.

Dear Oleksandr,
We are trying to enable the L3 module on a refurbished Nexus 5548UP and you mention that the LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG is needed being free and lifetime. How can we obtain that (now that the switch is EOL / EOSL?)
Please advise.
Thanks,
