Removing a modules from a running MDS9216i

Is it possible to remove a module from a MDS9216i without having to shutdown or reboot the switch.  The module has no active connections, although there are still some old unused fcaliases and zones that used to be connected to this module.

Hello Fred,

The switching modules are hot-swappable (along with pretty much all the components).

I agree with KenK. Also, I suggest you first shudown the module from console, wait, check for error or  link isolation. Once all look clean, then physically remove/replace it.
