AP is not discovering WLC while connecting on SG350-10P Gb PoE Managed Switch ..

Hello All,

AP (1702i) is not discovering WLC while connecting on SG350-10P Gb PoE Managed Switch. But if I connect the same AP (1702i) on Cisco cat 3560cx switch it has no problem discovering WLC. 

I am attaching the logs here for reference.

What i am missing here on SG350 Switch?

Please suggest.

Hello, 

Without knowing the architecture, there is not really much that I can say to help.

From what I see, the AP is not being assigned an IP from your DHCP server when it's connected to the SG350 switch.

Is the SG switch doing any routing? If not, then please make sure that the untagged VLAN in your AP trunk is in the same VLAN as your controller, or you need to configure DHCP options for it to work seamlessly.

Also, make sure that said VLAN spans correctly in your SG350 uplink.

I'm assuming that the IP of the controller hasn't changed since your AP has been migrated to the SG350, so those are the most likely causes. Troubleshoot from the ground up.
