Bricked SG300 switch?

This weekend I was updating my switch.  Uploded firmware and then set it to Layer 3 mode from ssh:

   set system mode router

But alas, the switch wont come back alive.

I've tried 30-30-30 and I see lights flash but only briefly and then nada.

I think I need to go find an antique 9pin cable and do something but try as I might I cannot find any documentation on what to do next.

Can someone take pity help a brother out?

Hi,

The default IP address of the switch is 192.168.1.254
Please first change the IP address of your network card to 192.168.1.222

This way you will be in the same network.
