has anyone configured a cbs350 switch stack to work with Microsoft NLB in multicast mode
I have found the the cbs350 does not allow adding the multicast mac address (complains illegal) to the mac address-table and does not allow adding it as a static arp entry either.
instead i am going to try using
ip multicast-routing igmp-proxy
ip igmp snooping vlan 50
ip igmp snooping vlan 50 querier
and
interface vlan 50
bridge mulitcast address xxxxxxxx add te1/0/1-3,te2/0/1-3,Po2-4
the ports are also in a portchannels for LACP connections

years years back i have come across this issue MS LB, now we no Longer uses (move to proper LB with latest models)
I am afraid Small business switch can do as Enterprise features never tested SMB switches othan Layer 2 function required.
some guide lines i have used with Cat 6K
may be try below (i am not sure that works, just want to refer)

thanks for the info, i forgot there is a IGMP multicast mode for the NLB which supposedly doesn't need the static mac or arp entries, also the mac address starts with 01-00-5E-7F instead of 03-BF so hopefully just using ip igmp snooping for the vlan and querier will work
