Good Morning,
i'm working about a big poject but now we have a problem with a network.
We need to work with 1Gb band in a WAN and we need to install CISCO SG300-20 in a ring of these Switches
http://www.ccontrols.com/ctrlink/eimk.htm.
These switches are in a Rapid Ring configuration because we need a redundancy network.
So we have to insert the CISCO within this fiber ring.
Can you advise me on the proper configuration of CISCO SG300 ?
Thank you for reply.

Hi Andrea, are the switching being installed to an existing infrastructure? These switches do not need a media converter since they already have fiber ports which support multimode or single mode. The switch does not support something like an ERPS ring or ERPS domain. If running 2 links in a ring one of those links will be in a blocking state due to spanning-tree. To overcome spanning tree, you can try to filter the BPDU or disable spanning tree all together. However, this will make the network susceptible (and most inveitable) a broadcast loop.

Thank you for reply Tom.
But i don't know very well cli mode.
Can you explain how can i set my Cisco by web interface?
At the end i'll do an aggregation ports between last switch of the ring and Cisco one using trunk way.
