Hello Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone is aware of a method to disable and enable the power over Ethernet on a port on an SF300-24PP daily. Otherwise if this is not an option to do something that would be equivilant to restarting the switch daily.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Cisco support.
My apologies for the inconvenience. The way in which you can do this is by going to port management==>PoE==>Settings==>select the port and click on edit==>uncheck PoE administrative status
May I know why you have to disable the PoE of an interface on a daily basis?
Please contact our SBSC phone line at: 1866-606-1866 for immediate assistance.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi alcarmon,
unfortunately I was more so in hopes of an automated daily poe restart like a command that would turn off the poe administrative status then turn it back on 10 seconds later and then that command would be set to run at a specific time daily. As far as I am aware this can not be completed through the switch itself.
As for the reasoning behind this we actually have a client which has a problem arise every few weeks and the device in question just needs to be power cycled to resume proper activity. It was just a solution to assist without having to replace the device at this current time.
Thanks a bunch :)
