Does Cisco 2700 AP work with Cisco unmanaged switches?

Hi,

Can you guys please help me with a rather basic question:

Can 2700/3700 APs work with the unmanaged POE switches? and what would be the result if 2702e is connected to a 10/100 port of a POE switch? would it still work?

I would really appreciate if someone could also give a link to supporting document.

Yes it will work

It would only work in LWAPP mode, i.e controller based.

It won't work as autonomous (i.e without a controller) as the unmanaged switch will not be capable of 802.1q tagging.

But also, is 2700 works in Autonomus mode ??

But as per following link, 1700, 2700 and 3700 all work in autonomous mode.
