Hi Abdulelah, the older SLM switch will need all manual configuration. If you're using the typical vlan 1, vlan 100 then the expected configuration of the switch would consist of the following-
- The link between the switch and UC configured as 1untagged, 100tagged
- The link between the telephone and the switch configured as 1untagged, 100tagged
- The links connecting the phones should have spanning-tree portfast enabled
Please keep in mind the old SLM switches do not support auto voice vlan, LLDP, CDP, etc. A SX200, SX300 or SX500 switch would be a more appropriate device for a UC deployment as the SX200 and SX300 are supported by CCA and is basically a zero config deployment as far as the switch is concerned.
