SG220-26P

Hello,

we just received a SG220-26P Poe Switch. We are tring to power on a passive poe device ( Ubiquiti Rocket Prism GEn2 - https://www.ubnt.com/downloads/datasheets/RocketAC/Rocket_Prism_AC_Gen2_DS.pdf). I think this is no autosensing, no 802.x standard. How can I enable PoE manually. This device need 9500 mw max power. Is it possible?

Regards,

Gianmaria

Hi,

Passive PoE does no such negotiation, and as such is always sending electric current out over the ethernet cable at a certain voltage regardless of the device it’s going to.

You can try with legacy POE mode or manual set required power

See the guide (page 360) :

Thank you so much Deepak,
I'm new to Cisco CLI. I tried to find right commands to enable manual PoE but without success.

Actually in CLI i do:

- config
- interface GigabitEthernet 12
- power inline limit 9000

But the Device were not powered. Sure I'm missing something. Can you give me the right sequance to gi e power to this Port? This a 24V Device.

Gianmaria
