SG300 Multicast problem

I have the following situation:

on SG300-28 with the latest firmware I have connected in interface G6 a multicast server, which generates 50 Mbps tafic(that is normal) on 224.1.2.1 port 1234

On interface G7 I have connected a windows machine in order to connect to stream using vlc on udp://@224.1.2.1:1234.

On switch I made the following configuration:

1.      Multicast -> Bridge Multicast Filtering Status -> Enable

                       -> Forwarding Method for IPv4: -> IP Group Address

2. IP Group Address -> Add -> Vlan 1, IP Multicast Group Address 224.1.2.1, Source IP Address: 192.168.1.7(multicast server)

                              -> Select 224.1.2.1 -> Details -> set G6, G7 to static

3. IGMP Snooping -> IGMP Snooping Status: Enable,On vlan 1 I activated IGMP Snooping Status and IGMP Querier Status

4. On IGMP/MLD IP Multicast Group , it show domain 224.1.2.1 with only G7, not G6

and does not work

PS. Switch Ip addres is on the same network with multicast server(192.168.1.0/24)

What do I miss?

Hi Sarbu, try using the MAC group, this will display all MAC address connecting if no specific MAC address is specified.

Setting up the VLC is also quite a chore, moreso than the switch
