SG500-52 Limitation on number of sub interfaces

Hello,

I am currently working on a deployment for a small business center.

- 50 Offices where each should get its vlan incl. dhcp etc.

- 200 Ports total

- intervlan only for internet access and cisco hosted voice

When I try to add more DHCP scopes through the webadmin tool, I am getting a maximum of eight registered. Is there a way to increase this number?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi Bjoern, it appears the limitation of DHCP pools is 8. There is not a way to increase this. You may make a feature request if you wish to create a ticket with the small business support center.

Just for my understanding: As I can add many more IP V4 Interfaces (sub interfaces), it is a software (firmware) specific issue?

Hi Bjoern, that is correct. It may also be difficult to classify as a firmware specific issue because the feature was added within the last couple months. I believe it is a limitation of the software.
