We are upgrading our network made of SGE 2010's and based on my research it seems like the SG350X and the SG550X are the best options. We are looking to have all 1Gig fiber connections. Please make a platform recommendation.

Hi there,

The SG550X supports dynamic routing, PBR and has redundant power supplies making it better suited to enterprise deployments.

The two models providing the port configurations you are after:

SG550XG-24F

SG550X-24F

cheers,

Seb.

Well if you just need an ordinary access switch configuration, take a look at the 550X-24 or 550X-48 , and the 'P' variants (ie 550X-24P) if you require PoE.

Thank you for the prompt response. We will have 10 switches with fiber connections between the switches and copper to the PCs.

Would the SG550XG-24F and the SG550X-24F still be the best options.

Best regards, Eehab
