Hello,
I have 4 sge2010P configured as one signle switch stack. I've vlan1 (default) and vlan100 on my router and switch stack. vlan100 is tagged and dedicated for voip phones. vlan1 is for computers and printers. How do I configure qos on vlan100? Thanks.

Hi Jan, assuming VLAN 100 is tagged, the default basic QoS will do this already based off 802.1p.

Hi Tom,
Yes, VLAN 100 is tagged. I configured the following on the switch stack:
- QoS mode to basic
- Set ports to CoS 5
- Set CoS 5 and DSCP 46 to queue 4
- Set Trust Mode to DSCP
Did I configure it correctly? If I have another VLAN tagged added to the trunk ports, how can I make sure CoS is associated to VLAN 100?

Hi Jan, there is not anything to configure unless you want something non-default. Each tag VLAN packet has a PCP value. This value will dictate the QoS for each packet. The VLAN association is only relevant to tag a packet but it is discriminating traffic type.
Please research 802.1p to gain understanding how the switch behaves by default.
