Switch stacking

I want to  stack and LACP of ports b/w two SX350 switches, 

 

I have queries:

 

1.does the stacking ports b/w the switches should always connected in a criss cross manner (21 port of switch1 to 22 port of switch 2 and vice versa)

2. If there are two switches what is the topology ? Ring / chain
