If i move the Power supplies to a 220volt circuit and with the present hardware, should the new

Will in work in with your current configuration? No!
The 6708 will draw about 445 watts, which you don't have available.
However, if you change from power redundancy to combined power, then it will work.
It will also work, with power redundancy, if you move to 220V.
NB: above based on Cisco's Power Calculator

You shouldn't need to change the power input to put a x6708 in the chassis. If you are using 120volt it should still work fine as long as you have enough power on the PSUs.
