10G interface module to use betwee n7k and 6509

Hi Guys,

need some advice here im not sure if the interface connector are compatible with each other., i will be setting up my  core switches which composes of 2x n7k and 2x 6509 using 10G fiber.

here is my 10G module for n7k:  N7K-M132XP-12

interface connector:  SFP-10G-SR

here is my 10G module for 6509: WS-X6704-10GE

interface connector:  X2-10GB-SR= or XENPAK-10GB-SR

which one will work?

normaly both of  X2-10Gb-SR and XENPAK-10GB-SR will work because all use the same wave lenght

SFP-10G-SR will works with X2-10GB-SR or XENPAK-10GB-SR.

WS-X6704-10GE only accept XENPAK, so your scenario will be SFP-10G-SR on N7K and XENPAK-10GB-SR on C6K with 6704 LC.
